Hero? Hero? I am no hero. Never have been. Never will be. Why does everyone look at me like that, as if me, and only me, can save them. I tighten my grip on the silver blade that hangs at my sideand turn to face those I speak of. I tell them that I will try to save them. I tell them that only God is a true hero. I step down and meet the girl I love behind the church. I tell her I love her. Then I turn and leave this town to defeat the one who threatens us all. I think: "Does this make me a hero?" I answer myself: "No. Heroes are older than 13. Heroes aren't kids. But I guess I'm on my way to becoming one." Hero? No. Later? Yes.

Hopeless He groaned and collapsed on the mountain as rain hit him, pushing him down forcefully. It was hopeless. He was too weak and pathetic. He couldn't defeat the dragon. All hope had left him. He let everyone down. The King, his family, the kingdom, himself, the world.... The Princess........ He was just too weak! Spring The sweet aroma of flowers fills my head and bright buds appear on trees, lighting up the world. The ice melts and creates delicate streams of water through the mountains. The wind blows through my hair and clears the skies of Winter clouds......... It must be Spring.
